green. When you own a printer, it is inevitable that you will have empty
cartridges. Ink and toner cartridges take a long time to break down when
disposed of in the landfill due to all the chemicals inside.
Rather than throwing them away, recycling them through our return program is a great way to make your contribution to being more sustainable. When you recycle used cartridges, they are then used to make new ones. This reduces the resources required when making new ones! It’s a win-win situation for everyone!
How Many Cartridges are Thrown Out Every Year?
Did you know that more than 375 million empty cartridges are
thrown away every year and end up in landfills? Did you also know that it can
take up to 1000 years just for the cartridge to decompose? This is why it is
important to recycle and do your part in helping the environment.
Our Recycling Process
At Superior Ink & Toner, we offer a recycling process
that is quick and easy for you. If you order cartridges from us, upon delivery
we will take your empty cartridges to recycle them at no extra cost to you in
efforts to keep the empties from being dumped into a landfill.
If you aren’t located nearby and we do not deliver
personally to your location but instead ship you ink and toner by courier, you
are able to send back your empties. This saves you the trouble of having to
take your empty cartridges to a recycling center.
How to Send Back Your Empty Cartridges and Drum Units for Recycling

Fill a sturdy box with at least 9 Kg (6 empty toner
cartridges weigh approximately 9 Kg ), or 20 mixed ink/toner items
· Seal the box/s shut and tape the Free UPS label/s that will be emailed to you, to the box/
