Are the running costs similar between Laser and InkJet Printers?

Posted by Matthew Pisarek on 9/13/2017 to Blog

There is a lot of confusion around the true costs of running a printer. Many people get caught up in the $29.99 Inkjet Printer deals only to learn the retail costs of Ink are so expensive.

Laser Printers generally run about a penny per page, when printing black. Color printing averages about ten-cents per page. Inkjet Printers average about five cents per page, black and anywhere between twenty-five cents ($0.25) to One-Dollar ($1.00) or more depending on the color depth and quality setting.

Printer manufactures get the consumer by selling their Printers for a cheap price but charge high markups for the consumables.

Buying Ink & Toner from Superior Ink & Toner can cut these costs by an average of 60% or more!

For one of our clients that savings amounted to over $2,000/year!
